taking time off from doing a bodybuilding show is key to getting your body back to normal.Going and getting some muscle tissue worked on aswell.Relax eat some good foods.

Spitz: yeah jester, sometimes it’s even beneficial for a lifting program to take a break week or a de-load week with reduced intensity and loads to allow your body to recover and build up some of the muscle mass without breaking it down with grueling workouts. i’m sure the same applies to training for a bodybuilding competition since it is so much more intense than the training the average weekend warrior does.

jesterno2: Hell, sometimes it’s nice to take a break even if it isn’t based around training for a competition. I know I like to take a break from going to the gym from time to time cause I get burned out. It’s nice to step away for like a week and let my batteries recharge!
