LcVee: Since I am a figure competitor, I feel that the definition of a figure athlete is someone who is dedicated to maintaining a lean, slightly muscular and well toned physique.  For me, being a figure athlete means not only LOOKING in shape but also striving to BE in shape…mind, body, and spirit.
