Tahini is AWESOME!
Tip of the day: Tahini, made from sesame seeds, makes for a good substitute for peanut and other nut butters if you have allergies to
peanuts and/or tree nuts.
Tahini is loaded with all the same beneficial compounds as sesame seeds, including cholesterol fighting phytosterols, large amounts of calcium, and the lignans sesamin and
sesaminol.
