I don’t keep my daily stuf but if there is an event that I normally prepare I will journal my weight, and running numbers and lifting numbers. It is always nice to see if you are on track.

My goal is not really strength… However I always try to lift the heaviest weight possible… i always strive to do my best so i don’t think logging my reps, weight and sets would make a difference for me (due to my goals).

I am sure it would help motivate me however I think it would be annoying to carry a notebook and log my results after each set… I usually super set with little rest… I would hate to stop what i am doing and lose focus…

I do think that planning your workouts and exercise ahead of time makes a big difference and keeps you moving in the gym without thinking about your next exercise… This has help me tremendously

i completely agree. If your carrying around a notebook you constantly have to stop working out and write in it. Its not hard to remember your best lifts in your excersices.

ITs very important to be prepared before you go to the gym. It will save you time at the gym and keep you focused which will allow you to train at a much higher level.
