good stuff….saw another mdog article about thermogenics too:

just curious—is it recommended to have a high protein diet to get optimal results with thermogenics?  or is it just a given if you take thermogenics, you should already implement a high protein diet?

yes, protein has a higher “thermic effect” than fat or carbohydrates,
meaning they take the longest to break down and produce the most heat,
but really the amount of protein you should consume depends on a lot of
other factors, including how much you are training.

as far as getting better effects with thermogenics, these compounds will cause their thermic effects regardless of your protein consumption. they are completely separate.

Great point about the caffeine and stimulant supplements! These can be extremely dangerous for a number of reasons, there’s a reason Ephedra was banned!

I would strongly recommend against relying on those types too but other thermogenics like fish oil and green tea have a ton of additional benefits along with the fat loss possibilities.
