“The best method for utilizing lemons seems to be drinking some lemon in
hot water in the morning. After you wake, your body is already primed
for cleansing and fat elimination.”

“Cranberries:  Everyone’s favorite holiday fruit also happens to be another liver-helping power food. Cranberries are loaded with compounds that assist the two detoxification phases in your liver, and they are reported to contribute to noticeable fat loss. Cranberries help to cleanse the lymphatic system, and can help to decimate stubborn pockets of fat and even reduce cellulite. “[/b]

I love unsweetened frozen cranberries!! It’s like eating frozen sour patch kids… Cranberries do not get enough credit….

Great article… Every day i make sure to eat some type of berry with breakfast ex… Strawberries, blueberries, cranberries, or raspberries..

I also love making natural fresh lemonade.  Water, fresh squeezed lemon, and Stevia!! yum

i’ve been using the lemon juice trick every morning, seems to be helping get rid of a little bit of that skinfold over my abs. i haven’t had my bodyfat checked in a long time, but i’m pretty sure i’m down a little from where i was in my heyday.

don’t get me wrong, it’s not a miracle method or anything. of course i am doing other things like drinking green tea, taking fish oil, HIIT and resistance training, and a diet of mostly veggies and meat, but the lemon juice is just another thing that seems to be helping.

i drink the hot water with lemon first thing after waking up while i am making my breakfast, and drink my coffee after breakfast.

i work out at Cal Strength, or i’ll climb and lift at a rock climbing gym by my house. i do HIIT on a hill in front of my house, or i’ll go to a nearby high school track from time to time.

i don’t have a set workout schedule, but i’ll lift or run at least 3-4 times a week depending on my schedule.

for about a year i used rock climbing as my main form of exercise. it’s awesome for getting lean, but really hard to gain any sort of size doing it. over that year i lost about 20 lbs.

and to answer the earlier question that i missed about the hot water, yes it helps with increasing circulation. if you drink cold water your body has to heat it up before it can finish passing through the digestive system.

OHHHH!! The hot water makes sense!!! I will definitely try that! I usually drink lemons with cold water.

AS for rock climbing i bet it was a killer workout! I could see how it might cause muscle loss…

I want to try that one day!! I guess i would have to get rid of my nails…boooo

good to know about the hot water vs. cold water…so would drinking a
hot beverage be recommended before a workout as well, being that it
increases blood flow?
