I thought this was very intereting… Most people do not know this fact…

“All traditional teas come from the same plant Camellia sinensis, and the color is determined by how much processing the leaves go through after they are harvested.”

White tea is barely processed and made from immature tea leaves.

Oolong tea is partially fermented.

Black tea is full fermented.

Green tea isn’t fermented at all, but comes from leaves that have been pan-fried/steamed and dried.”

there are teas made from other herbs and plants, but all of black, green, white and oolong come from the same plant. “herbal” teas come from other plants, but often have Camelia sinensis thrown in there with them.

i love my tea, i try to drink a few cups every day, particularly instead of coffee in the afternoon.
