“The first thing I would recommend would be to have one day solely dedicated to cardiovascular training as well as one day only dedicated to weight training. The third day would be a combination of the two.”
“The second option I would recommend would be to do both things on all three days of the week. This way, you know you are getting a healthy balance of both weight training as well as cardio work.”
“If you are unsure where to start, a great guideline is to keep that 1:1 ratio. Every time you do a cardio session, follow it up with a strength training session”
These are GREAT TIPS!! I pretty much follow these guide lines.. I workout 6 days a week but my time is limited in the gym.. I like to try to get 4 cardio sessions and 4 weight training sessions…
Monday steady state and weights
Tuesday HIIT
Wednesday Weights
Thursday: Hiit
Friday Weights
Saturday Hiit and weights
I try to alternate my days,, Monday and Saturday i have limited time to do both cardio and weights ,however i keep my sets and reps fast and explosive
What does your workout schedule look like?
