oooh, thanks for the recipe! i love Jonny Bowden’s stuff. i might just have to try this one, it seems easy enough. good sweet potato pies are amazing, especially one as guilt-free as this.
one thing to note is that he likes to use agave as a sugar substitute. agave has an even higher ratio of fructose-glucose than high fructose corn syrup, at a whopping 90-10%, but it has a ton of vitamins and minerals packaged with the sugar, and it has a much much lower glycemic index. agave is a great sugar substitute, maybe you can do an article on that soon?
