i agree with hawk that legs respond surprisingly well to high rep workouts. you can pack on a bunch of muscle mass with high volume workouts, but you need to make sure that you are getting a great pump and really feeling a burn. this applies to girls looking to “tone up” their legs and guys looking to fix their chicken legs.
great advice Hawk, only thing i disagree with is the abductor and adductor exercises. 95% off girls would be better of spending that time with better exercises like squats, lunges and deadlifts. if your legs aren’t toned enough to be able to see the muscles you have no need to sit in those machines.
i see fat girls at the gym sitting in those things texting on their phones and pumping away like they’re in a thighmaster infommercial and it makes me really want to rip my hair out.
the only girls who really need to use those machines are the elite fitness competitors who are really going for specific definition in their legs and are lean enough to show it. just my two cents.

I agree that doing adductor/abductor are pointless unless you are an elite competitor or incorporating them into a super set.
I see women pumping away on the ad/abductor machines, it’s hilarious. They are trying to spot reduce the fat on their inner thighs… LADYS… You can’t spot reduce!!!
They don’t understand that working multiple muscle groups by doing squats, deadlifts and lunges will burn more calories, speed metabolism, burn fat, and gain lean muscle mass.
Women think that just because they are sore the next day magical fat loss will happen…
IT DOES NOT WORK THAT WAY!!
