I “maybe” step on a scale once a month…
The scale is all lies!! I use to get a different answer everyday… I just go by how i look in the mirror, how i feel and how my clothes fit… That is the best indicator…

So many women flip out when they see the scale rise… It’s just not worth weighing yourself ever day, if anything it could bring down your motivation level

They don’t take into account that it could be hormonal, retained water, didn’t go to the bathroom, muscle gain, ECT…

Seriously! The mirror is your friend!

the scale gave you a different answer every day cause you don’t weigh the same at really any two moments. you should weigh yourself at the same time and same conditions every day so it’s as consistent as possible, but so many things factor into how much you weigh at any given time.
water content is really the biggest determinant. for example, while you are sleeping you probably breathe out close to a lb of water vapor. if you’ve gone to the bathroom or haven’t, if you ate a lot of sodium (or potassium) the day before, if you worked out and depleted all your muscle glycogen stores….

this is pretty much the exact reason that weight is the worst indicator of day to day fitness, and actually one of the reasons that competing in a fitness/bodybuilding competition is so difficult. if you don’t manage your water weight properly in the last 24 hours before a competition, you aren’t gonna look as lean and tight as someone who has.

Just curious… what is the best and healthiest way to manage your water?

People manipulate their sodium, water, and carbs and take water pills…

What would be your suggestion/protocol?
