When hair follicles are blocked with excess oil and product buildup, hair can look limp and greasy. Dirty follicles can also prevent essential nutrients, vitamins, and oils from properly nourishing your hair.

Do this test:
Gently rub and scratch your head. Do you feel pimplelike bumps or see a white residue on your nails or fingertips? If so, try these tips.
Exfoliating is key to heading off scalp breakouts, caused by trapped oil and bacteria. Skip  shampoo scrubs and pick up a brush instead. . Starting on one side of your head, brush from your front hairline to your neck, using a semicircular motion; continue until you reach the opposite side, 10 to 15 strokes is about right.
Shampoo only once every two or three days with this thorough approach: Massage  with your fingertips from your temples to your crown, behind your ears to your crown and from your neck to your crown. Try to move the scalp  this ensures that you’re using enough pressure to clean it.   Rinse until water is free of suds.
Purifying shampoos strip your scalp of its natural oils, sending oil glands into overdrive.

Some good tips to use to keep your hair healthy…

OHHHH i love the in styler!!!! It’s my favorite when i wear my hair straight…

I don’t use it everyday but I use it just to smooth my ends or give my roots some lift when my hair is fully dried!!

I would not use this every day but its better then a REAL flat iron… it has saved me soooo much time in the morning getting ready… I get this stupid flat spot behind my head and it drives me insane… the blow drier does not do the trick…  the in styler does!!!!

The Instyler is the best by far…..My  blow dryer doesn’t get my hair even so I love using the Instyler to fix the bumps….
I know you shouldn’t use it every day but it has become addicting to me…
