Hey some fun facts on Carmex remember carmex ladies? Not sure if everybody loves it, but thought it was a good article.
It Soothes. It Heals. It Protects.® Suffering from chapped lips and
occasional cold sores, Alfred Woelbing invented Carmex lip balm in
Milwaukee in the early 1930s. Formulated with a variety of natural
ingredients, the mixture was carefully hand poured into small glass
jars, which Alfred would sell to pharmacists from the trunk of his car.
In 1937, Alfred founded Carma Labs and Carmex was officially born. Over
the last 70 years, people have come to love the lip balm that works like
no other. Carma Labs is still owned and operated by the Woelbings -
Alfred’s grandsons, Eric and Paul.

i love the smell. i didn’t know it was made with all-natural ingredients, but if it’s almost 80 years old it must be made from some pretty good stuff. thanks for sharing Lori =)

Ooooh, I didn’t know that either! I love this stuff: I’ve always used Carmex as my chapstick of choice during snowboarding season. It’s the best!

do you know if Carmex just started adding sunscreen (to increase SPF) to their formula, or has it always had it? i’m pretty sure they post the SPF on the labels now to match Chapstick…
