Is there a certain size you have to be to compete in bodybuilding or can you enter a show at any level.

The reason i ask is im thinking bout training for a show and want to know how to get into it.

In most cases depending on the competition and organization
Male competitors are graded into six weight classes..

-Bantamweight: up to 143 lb

-Lightweight: 143- 154 lb

-Middleweight: 154lbs-176lbs.

-Light-Heavyweight:  176lbs- 198lbs.

-Heavyweight: 198lbs-225lbs.

-Super-Heavyweight:225lb and over lbs

What organization are you planning to compete in??

What are your goals and stats?

Do you plan on getting a coach?

When do you plan on competing?

I would definitley hire a coach/trainer.

I would recommend INBF (natural body builing) or NPC.. Those are just my preferences.

Does anyone have any other recommendations??
