We Have ruffly four crews one morning two night one midday at three different local gyms there are presently 30 of us with the largest group being the 5:30 am crew. We do train daily and twice per week twice a day (once spring begins). We are not arrogant, we are always accepting to anyone who wants to learn and listen to everyone’s idea’s. I take pride in knowing that there are NO members who currently use any banned substance. We live and breath for the pain that we inflict and strive to make every week better. We are not the strongest or Best Crew out there but we know what we want and we know how to stick together to try to reach a common goal. Our intentions are good we always strive to help others change their live’s and we know that our chain of support is unbreaking and solid as a rock. I Cannot desciribe in words how much the guys that wear the Butch’s name proudly mean to me. They believe in me and I believe in them. From our fighters powerlifters to our strongmen and football players Butch’s Crew is to me is one of the most dedicated and supporting groups I have ever had the privilage to work with. I like to share knowledge and love  learn from others please feel free on this community to make yourself known. and ask or tell whatever you wish. You never know together we all may find what we are striving to achieve through sharing the wealth of knowledge that is scattered among this site.
Thanks Butch

i’ve usually trained solo, occasionally with a partner or two but
never with an entire crew. i’d imagine that it would be kinda like
training with a sports team, which i did a lot when i was younger but
havent experienced in years.

how’d you guys get assembled? is this a crossfit group or just a bunch of guys who attend the same gym?

Whats up jester
Mostly word of mouth a few I have trained with for years. But let me say it has become very interesting we have people come in just to train with us.

Right now we are so many we have kind of locked up and are trying not to grow any larger (Kind of puts a damper on training). And let me add all but two were not previously attending the gyms we train at. We have 9 who actively compete sanctioned and non sanctioned meets and three who are getting involved in MMA.
Thanks
Butch

hm, that sounds really interesting. do you guys have a leader or any sort of organizational structure? who organizes the workouts? do all 30 guys do the same routine?

what’s up jester? I have the privilidge of working out with/for barbell dog. I just recently got back into working out heavily and have taken big steps in three months. The types of workouts that he puts together and the mindset he instills in his team are incredible. I am very fortunate to be working out with such a great group of guys and under the instruction of someone with all of the knowledge of barbelldog.

Yes I am Butch and I organize the training and all do the same workout based on skill levels of course. It is hard to keep up with everything but worth it. I try to set things up with a teach and be taught additute. Also one thing thats unique about us and why I think the results are extremely quick and very visible is the fact no two workouts are exactly the same we have our core for the contest lifts but all supplementry work is done in a cycled fashion we at present have 150 active written workouts and 12 diets.
Thanks
Butch
And I really appreciate the conversation
