It really does feel like you are cheating… try protein pudding with mashed banana… it taste great
Directions
Mix cookies and cream protein powder, a little water (to make it a pudding consistency) and then 1 banana (mashed)
I first freeze the banana, and then melt it in the microwave.  It’s easier to mix…

Let me know if you like it??

Tuna Burgers
1 can of tuna in water
1 egg white
1 teaspoon Mrs Dash
A little bit of light pancake mix(just enough to hold together and thicken the mix)
Mix the about items and fry in a pan until brown on each side.  Tastes great.

That sounds like a great idea.
Have you ever tryed mixing in vanilla protein powder to hold the mixture together.  You can also buy non flavor protein powder.  It adds extra protein, I will try this tomorrow morning and let you know how it goes.  Do you have any other ideas?
I love trying new things, thanks man

After weigh-ins, at weightlifting comps, I am religious about my meal.  First, lots of Pedialyte to rehydrate!  Then, I eat Irish-cut oatmeal, with 2 scrambled eggs mixed in, plus nuts and dried fruit, and 1 banana.  Between Snatch and Clean and Jerk, I eat one protein bar (and sometimes a banana), plus more water/pedialyte.
I am curious what other Olympic Lifters eat after weigh-in and between the two lifts???

That sounds like a very, very sound plan if you had to cut weight.  Personally, as a superheavy, when I competed I always liked to up the intake of ribs and brisket close to a competition.  But thats just me, lol.

I have seen a lot of lifters eat very similar to this. A lot of pedialyte for the people who are cutting weight and whatnot. Then, i;ve seen a lot of eggs, yogurt, fruit, and nuts. PRetty simple stuff

It is a formula for babies that has tons of electrolytes and whatnot. It is used to repleneish babies when they have diahrrea or are vomiting. That way they’re electrolytes are back in balance right away (As opposed to just drinking water). Wrestlers, fighters, and boxers drink this stuff CONSTANTLY

I think it is honestly just a lack of education. It is an absolute staple of most endurance athletes nutrition (especially boxers/mma guys/wrestlers) like I said. They live off this stuff during intense training cycles

egg white pancakes or egg white muffins.
Off-season or when I can have carbs, I stir oatmeal or butter flavor grits in liquid egg whites and cook on the stove top or bake in a muffin pan.
During contest prep I stir protein powder in the egg whites and cook as above.  You can also place 1 scoop of protein powder in a cup and slowly add warm water while stirring to make a paste. The paste is used as a topping (icing) on the cooked egg white pancake or muffin.

Omg!! I use to get mc flurries all the time when i was younger… oh boy! Those were the days when i didn’t even think twice about junk food…

I was so skinny that my mom was just happy if was eating something… I never understood why it was bad to eat junk food which was sooooo wrong… She would try to force me to eat some fruit but i never understood why…  i will never forget when i was eating a snickers bar and offered a piece to an older women… she refused because she was watching her weight… I remember being so confused thinking “really just one snickers?”.. I get it now! I always thought it was just bad because it spoils you appetite for dinner ahahah

I will never forget it - I Remember being at a wrestling meet and seeing one of the top ranked wrestlers drinking mountain dew and donuts between matches. I mean it is one thing to want to make sure you have enough carbs - but straight sugar like that? The dude ended up winning state. Dang genetics sometimes haha!

Thank you Laura!!!!!!!I tell people that all the time, a not so insahpe looking person can be alot more healthy then a skinny person. It’s all about what you eat and how you feel, not how you look. Now I am not saying to look like a pig on purpose and say say “o well im healthy”. But I would deffinitly try to eat as best I can and how yolu look is how you look, just be happy with yourself and being healthy.

i don’t really agree with your comment … (accept the way you look).. You can always strive for goals to gain more muscle or lose fat… that takes work obviously however i don’t  believe people should just settle.. There are many ways to manipulate your diet… just eating healthy does not always cut it…

Depending on your goal and body type you have to be cautions about how many carbs fats and protein you are taking in… I don’t count calories however i am aware of portion size and measure food…

this applies to people that want to change thier bodies.. not peopel who just want to maintain a so called “healthy” weight

Good point Laura, I was talking mostly about the athlete side however, I think that all people deal with physical apperance issues. What I was saying was that no matter what your goal is, be happy about the fact that you are making the effort to be heatly and that you are doing something to better yourself.
