I hear all different opinions from experts (regarding fat loss)
 
Some coaches suggest that you should not mix carbs and fats together while other have no problem with this..
 
I know fats helps slow digestion therefore it would slow down insulin spike?
 
What are your thoughts about this?
 
I guess there is a time a place to mix fats and carbs together (meal timing)

personally, i have not seen anything bad with mixing carbs and fats i do it all the time, i have oats, cereal, and eggs in the morning, later on i have a gucamole and chicken sandwhich, people i think are too hung up over carbs as of late, i dont care how many carbs i have i just pay attention to calories, many people need to understand carbs wont make you fat they can retain water if you eat enough, but they in themselves can not and will not make you fat, the calories in those carbs will not the carbs themselves.

I hope you are talking about good carbs??
 
People should not be scared of carbs but there is a time and place to use them…
 
My goal is fat loss so i have to watch my carb intake and what carbs i choose… I try to stick with sweet potatoes, starchy veggies, oatmeal, brown rice, and quinoa… I try to limit my fruit intake and stay away from refined/proceeded carbs.
 
 
I guess it depends on your goals but your carb choose is crucial

Carbs for me are right before a workout and then in my PWO meal

awesome.. i got worried lol
 
I have eat carbs inthe morning and post workout.. oher meals i eat healthy fats or veggies..
 
on the weekend i am less srict but have at least 1-2 cheat meals
