WHat are some of your favorite things to add to plain oatmeal..
 
I LOVE making protein oatmeal pancakes!!
 
-3/4 cup egg whites
-1/2 cup oatmeal
-1/2 tbsp cinnimon
-1/4 cup cranberries
-1/4 blueberries

I Also LOVE to add:
 
Frozen bananas  or
Nuts
Almond butter
Coconut oil
Coconut flakes
Dried fruit
Strawberries
Peaches
Cocoa powder
Protein powder
stevia
Carbo chocolate chips
Almond milk
Coconut milk
Shredded granny smith apples
Extra low sugar granola crunch!
 
I think made a pretty nice list!

wow chocolate milk!! never thought about that..
 
I guess you can add cocao or chocolate protein powder to get the flavor as well

amazing combo, pete….tummy is a’rumblin. yeah the chocolate milk really does add a great flavor…you guys would like it.

lol, you guys crack me up. yeah, straight cocoa powder, or even some chocolate flavored protein/whey powder would work just as well. it sounds like a peanut butter cup

Oooh, all these recipes sound soo good! I’ve never been a huge fan of oatmeal but I might have to give some of these a try. I really like the peanut butter cup idea Pete! ^_^

if you don’t like mushy oatmeal, why don’t you just use less water or milk? or you could make it into granola instead?

i boil half cup water then ad rolled oats by bobs mill 5 grain cereal.. I cook it for about 15 min.. however!!! i get in trouble every morning becuse i literally burn my pot and stink up the houe because i liek it crunchy.. thats why i just stick with protein oatmeal pancakes.. sometimes i bake it or make granola

hahah its horrible.. our place stinks!!! thats why i switched to protein pancakes.. however if i dont flip that in time it makes the place STINK!! i just have to spray perfume every morning.. why cant i just be simple and cook mushy plain oatmeal??? i mkae thinks so complicated lol..
