Is there any such thing as too much warm up? I just comepeted in the Jiu Jitsu tournament on April 24. I thought I was warmed up enough! I was not! I was talking to a track coach trainer friend of mine that has trained NCAA athletes and he told me they start warming up, as much as, 2 hours in advance. I was shocked! I use to think I would waste energy and be gassed. Warm ups are so important. Especially to a 37 year old who has had back surgery. I ended up with the Bronze Metal but with a tight and sore back that is going to take a while to get back in working out mode. I have some good warm ups, any others out there, would love to hear! Also, time frame.
