protien for women!??
I am sure others have their opinions but it really depends up on what your goals are. If you let us know a little more about what you are interested in accomplishing we can help you out.
In general though, milk based proteins, such as whey and casein taste better than soy. And whey especially helps after a workout to start the recovery process. While casein is a good night-time long lasting protein source.
Then you have to take into consideration the other calories in some products. For example Muscle Milk has a lot of fat and carbohydrates in it. Which is fine if you want the calories, but a straight whey would be better if you are not interested in the calories and just want more protein.

My favorite proteins powders are:
-American whey sports nutrition
-Optimum whey and optimum casein
-MHP probolic and whey protein
-Optimum whey and optimum casein
-Metabolic drive by biotest
-Beverley International
-Dymatize whey
-BSN Lean Dessert
There are all really yummy and pretty low in calories
If you are trying to lose fat I would stick with a low fat/ low calorie protein powder
If you plan on taking your protein throughout the day I would stick with a whey protein
If you are looking for a protein powder to take before bed I would buy a casein protein..
It all depends on your goals and how much money you are willing to spend…
Very good post llulko. The only other thing I would add is for taste most people like the taste of splenda or aspartame as the sweetener. Most don’t like stevia or other natural sweeteners.
And if you want to add the protein to any sort of baked good you will want splenda as aspartame and stevia break down under heat.
