I need to loose about 5  pounds. I was reallly hoping to do that in one week. I have a reunion to go to, and my dress is a little  too tight, but would fit perfect if I was 5 pounds less. Does anybody have a suggestion on how I could do that?

5 lbs in a week is not realistic unless you do water depletion and take diuretics just is just plain stupid if you are not competing.
 
 

 
What you can do to help lose some weight is…
 
Do high intensity cardio 3-4 times a week
 
Replace starchy carbs for veggies like broccoli, asparagus, spinach, string beans ect
 
Choice lean proteins like chicken (no skin) lean beef, turkey, fish, eggs, low carb/fat protein powder
 
Drink lots of water
 
Eat 5-6 small meals a day, protein each meal
 
Practice meal timing
 
Measure your meals example ½ oatmeal, ½ rice, ect
 
Workout super intense with less rest breaks
 
Avoid sugar, juice, sodas, alcohol,
 
Add healthy fats like avocado, nuts, salmon, flax meal/oil
 
These are just a few tips but stay consistent.

llulko wat do you consider high intensity cardio?
 
Water depletion is great if you are tryin to lose the 5lbs just for that day. Its nit meant for long term though.

2 examples of my hiit training
 
Treadmill 
 
*10 min light jog warm up 
 
*25 min alterate: 
1 minute level 9.8 (sprint)
1 minute level 3.6 (recover) 
 
*10 minute light jog cool down
 
 
 
or
 
Stairmaster 
  
 
*10 minutes level 10 (warm up) 
 
*25 min alterate:
1 minute level 18  (sprint)
1 minute level 10 (recover) 
 
*10 minute level 10 cool down
 
this is CRAZYYY hard!!

I have been using the climber a lot at the  gym, could I use that instead of the treadmill. My knees bother me when i’m on the treadmill. Great tips , thank you.
I will keep you updated with my progress.

Yes!! the stair master and ellipital are better for your knees then running.. I alternate them every session..

Using high reps in weightlifting with minimal rest inbetween sets could be good as well. You will work up a sweat and burn calories and at the same time build muscle.

Great point… i try to add this aspect to my workouts… short rest, high intensity, train to fatigue sing compound exercises.
 
I love adding kettle bell, plyos and Olympic lifts to the mix in order to get my heart rate up…
