I need to loose about 5 pounds. I was reallly hoping to do that in one week. I have a reunion to go to, and my dress is a little too tight, but would fit perfect if I was 5 pounds less. Does anybody have a suggestion on how I could do that?

5 lbs in a week is not realistic unless you do water depletion and take diuretics just is just plain stupid if you are not competing.
What you can do to help lose some weight is…
Do high intensity cardio 3-4 times a week
Replace starchy carbs for veggies like broccoli, asparagus, spinach, string beans ect
Choice lean proteins like chicken (no skin) lean beef, turkey, fish, eggs, low carb/fat protein powder
Drink lots of water
Eat 5-6 small meals a day, protein each meal
Practice meal timing
Measure your meals example ½ oatmeal, ½ rice, ect
Workout super intense with less rest breaks
Avoid sugar, juice, sodas, alcohol,
Add healthy fats like avocado, nuts, salmon, flax meal/oil
These are just a few tips but stay consistent.
