To give you an idea this is what I want

First off STOP with ……………..

“fitness classes through the week such as…body pump body combat spinning thighs, bums and tums circuits hula hooping…I do about 2/3 classes a week if not more..”

I almost thought this was a joke…

Figure out a routine were you work each muscle group.

Either:
2 muscle groups a workout or just one depending on your schedule

I would cut out all your cardio if you are trying to build muscle.

If you want definition you need to build more muscle

More muscle = more food

You are not eating enough! I can tell you that much

You need to figure out a meal plan that works for you…

Did you read any of the articles i sent you???

Honestly if you read them all these questions should be answered in the article…

Do you have questions about the articles i sent you?

If so we are more then happy to help you

who says that body part splits are the most effective way to build muscle? classes are not a bad way to go, especially for beginners, and particularly if they are classes that focus on full body training.

body combat sounds like MMA training, which is obviously effective for building muscle if you have ever watched any MMA. there are many different ways to skin a cat, and it isn’t set in stone that you have to do 1-2 muscle group focused workouts to build muscle. quite the contrary, i would recommend full body workouts for a beginner, or even for the first portion of a muscle building phase for veterans.

i do agree that you need a little more focus than just doing various random classes, but i wouldnt say that you have to limit it to 1-2 body parts per workout.

you also don’t have to cut out your cardio, especially if you are really looking to stay lean. High Intensity Interval Training should be a big focus of your program because it helps you to burn fat and lean out, while still building muscle.

My girlfriend goes to them so I go with her lol
I don’t want to put weight on just definition and doing all the cardio I thought that would help with getting a six pack.
I was just thinking about doing all the classes just do a 10 minute run before everyworkout….
Should I carry on taking whey protein?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5cJs-FF4xpM - that is bodycombat.
.ttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j_rNm1uNW-M - this is bodypump.
I donn’t like doing all over body muscle workout I prefer doing them in sections because I feel like I benefit more.
http://models.com/newfaces/news/12660 - Thats the sort of body I’m going for more toned around the abs and a little bit less ripped around the chest.

At the moment I’m doing high reps with a low weight to tone up…

What is D-bol?
Some guy was trying to sell me it saying it’s really good for building muscle and there’s no side effects…

Today I have eaten
2x porridge
8 bits of scampi
vergiterian chilli con carne
stir fry with fake meat
I also have done shoulders and abs.

What about a weight gain?
I have a friend he always uses weight gain and he’s big but he never puts fat on…
He said get this..there a lot for the money you see…

Are you a vegetarian?? This diet is horrible!!

You have lift heavy if you want to look toned.

I told you before more muscle=more toned.

You need to focus on changing your nutrition before putting all this emphasis on supplements… your diet STINK!!

hey buddy good to see you taking an interest in your health, I don.t knwo too much about nutrition but I wouldsay the best thing to do is to keep it simple and work hard when you are in the gym. Try to make everyday the same with diet and you will start to see the results after sometime, take babysteps when dieting and dont try to rush to much. Be patient and dont get frustrated if you dont see your results right away, it takes time. Just remember to try and burn off more calories then you take it, so the cleaner your diet the easier ir is to burn off calories.

Yes Laura I would have to agree with you, this wasn’t to hard of a read, but let’s give him the benefit of the doubt he is new. What where you confused about buddy? maybe I can help answer some questions you may have.
