Tuesday 19th July 2011 - The weekend is a distant memory!
Overview:
Met up with my good friend ‘Flabblastit’ Mr Fox (you’ll be hearing
quite a bit more about this top bloke / athlete) for a 6.15am gym
session. Focused on bicep and shoulders – doing 4 ‘devil set’
bench-presses. This involves 6 narrow grip, 6 standard grip and 6 wide
grip continuously for each set. Had an hour session before finishing
with a dumbbell curl challenge – which I failed badly!! - see below:-

I’ve just got home and had a go at the DIAMOND FACE PUSH-UP CHALLENGE
I managed 20, which has propelled me to top-spot, if only for tonight!!

Diet:
Started the morning off with a banana and a drink of No-Xplode. Mid
morning whey protein drink, followed by the now routine ‘grazing’ on
rice, veg and tuna between 9am – 5pm. Protein shake at 6pm followed by
a slice of quiche with salad and cous cous.

That is some great information too. I always enjoy when people throw in their diet and other things into their logs as well. It always makes it much more fun to read

With as hard as your workingout it doesnt seem like your taking in very many calories. Are you using protein shakes as meal replacements?

Cheers mate. Diet is the main thing - and the main thing I struggle with.I need to discipline myself and cut out the junk food. Hows your training going pal? Do you do any fitness challenges?

definteley check out the mens nutrition articles. DIET IS SOOOOO KEY!
 
why dont you post yor diet so we can look it over and give you our thoughts.
 
There is a time a place for cheat meals but not every day..

These weekends are tough, I rememeber going back home and thinking how many people im going to see and how fun it iwll be, then before I knew it I was back home. So I can totally relate to this topic, it is hard to go through this because you think you have so much time when you really dont, just have to cherish every moment I guess.

however! it just seems like every weekend there is a moment to cherish.. an old freind you havent seen, someones birthday, holiday party, romatic dinner date.. these weekends add up and add to your waist line.. its hard but i guess you have to find balance and not go crazy with your diet all the time
