Game 5: Angels 7 Yankees 6. 1 down 2 to go for the Halos. Sorry Yankee fans. It’s 2004 all over again.
Game 6….. Yankees 5 … angels 2…
World Series baby!!!!! Here we come
Sorry Angel’s you just couldn’t handle Andy Pedite and Mariano Rivera’s pitches and Johnny Damon’s 2 run hit… go Yankees
I had to resurrect this journal cause lately they still have the best record in baseball and CC just got his 12th win eighth in a row and Swish is gonna rock the derby tonight… so I figured now is good time to bring this journal back to life…
And how can I forget about the voice of the Yankees passing on… RIP Bob Sheppard…” Now Batting for the New York Yankees, number 2, captain, Derek… Jeter number 2”

sad week for the yanks losing two greats of the game…some memorable quotes from george:
“When you’re a shipbuilder, nobody pays any attention to you, but when you own the New York Yankees … they do, and I love it.”
“Winning is the most important thing in my life, after breathing. Breathing first, winning next.”
“I’m really 95 percent Mr. Rogers and only 5 percent Oscar the Grouch.”

Yes the Yankees had more starters, but they also had more people who are to blame for why the American Leauge lost for the first time in forever. First, Phil Hughes was the losing pitcher and second, Joe Girardi was the losing manager for not letting A-Rod play and for not pinch running for Papi.
Alright this post has been pretty still these past few weeks. I think it’s time to get it back up and running because of course we all know it doesn’t matter who wins the AL East, it only matter who is hoisting the pennant at the end of the World Series, and of course we also all know that it will be the New York Yankees hoisting that pennant and adding ring number 28 to the collection… Got Rings?

FOR SURE!!!!!!!!!!!! go yanks!! ALL THE WAY TO THE WORLD SERIES
It was seriously luck… they had it in the bag! But i agree too… they need some hungry new players like Brett Gardner, the Grandy man, Tex, and cano… they have heart! It will be a shame when the old timers retire but they just don’t have it in them anymore…
