PR Song...

What is the ONE song you go to when you are going to set a PR? Everyone seems to have that one song they turn on when they’re going for a big bench, squat, deadlift, snatch, whatever it is… OR, what is that song you play right before you get out fo your car going to the gym haha! Same song probably.
Mine is:
Lil Wayne- Sky’s The Limit

You are obviously a fool.  Cash will show you what emotion is all about if you have the brains to listen to it.  honestly you lose as a human being if you think that some “little wayne” character actually makes music.  Basically yes I am saying that YOU suck, and suck badly if you are gonna actually try to stand behind what you posted.  So ‘Waylon Jennings for president and if you don’t like it then you have some serious character flaws.

riiiiight…since “Waylon Jennings” is going to make you want to set a PR???? That could be the dumbest thing I have ever heard. That is worse than the backstreet boys. It is the slowest music ever. Ok, lets go take a nap before a PR attempt. The point of the music is to get pumped up- not cry about your dog getting ran over, your girlfriend leaving you and your car breaking down with some Whaling Jumpings song.

Few things get me as pumped up as this.  i am sorry that you have failed as a human being.  I feel sorry forr your lack of taste.  It pains me that you torture yourself with that crap.  But you have done it to yourself.  Evidently I cannot help you.  Hopefully someone else, sometime in the future, can.

Lol, you guys are funny. Can’t say I’m a fan of country, even though Cash is a legend.

Gotta agree that the hip-hop and rock is the way to go, although I’m not really a PR type of girl. When I need that pick me up though, some Evanescence gets it done for me, and Lady Gaga is a regular on my mix too. you guys might not like it but I don’t care! =P

At least there is one decent song on your list.  Lunatic Fringe is good.  Red Rider got lucky with that one.  If you want to get psyched up go look into the second best song by Golden Earring.

Jon, the reason you didn’t jerk that 195kg lift was you weren’t listening to the instrumental opening lines of Metallica’s “For Whom the Bell Tolls”.

Jared and I are going to blast Lil wayne on monday and PR all over the gym!!!!      go Obama airport in Texas!

Yes, LIL WAYNE baby, The Sky is the Limit

Thank you Jon! You and I are agreeing on quite a few things lately. Your coach is completely crazy on his song selection. I like it that you guys put on good music while training though. IF Glenn got close to that stereo you guys would clark every single weight.

Yes! Wow, we should definitely set this up. Great idea llulko. I believe he just agrees with my ideas on everything, not vice versa

Im pretty sure if you play country during my workout i will fall asleep before i finish. Gotta go wit the lil wayne on this one. but best workout song has to be remember the name.

Whats up with little Wayne??

Who is this guy?? There are sooo many better songs to choose, you guys are a little wack!!

Little Wayne is MUCH better then country though lol…

Glenn are you serious?? Country pumps you up?

I don’t think i could ever trust your opinion again!!

You need to just go outside and cook up some brisket, kick back a few beers and figure this out?? What can possibly run through your mind while country is blasting in the background…? DO you have a think for horse and cow boys??  Maybe cows??

Agreed. Country is the worst music ever for lifting. Lil Wayne is the best.

Strange choose but i can see how her songs can energize and pump you up!!

Definitely not country!! That is just weird… I don’t care if you are a country Texas boy… there is nothing motivating about it…

IT’S SLOW paced!!

agreed on the whole “not able to work out listening to country” stance.  that is of course unless you are line dancing, square dancing, two-stepping, etc…

needs to be loud and fast paced!

Disturbed - Prayer is my go to song. if i had one of those Nike+ sensors with the boost button, that’s the song i would set to it.

getting warmed up i like:
AC/DC - Hells Bells (the opening song for our mix tape during HS volleyball)
Dredg - Bug Eyes
Yellowcard - Breathing
Coheed & Cambria - Welcome Home
Red Hot Chili Peppers - Around the World

Disturbed - Prayer ..  motivating but ok song

AC/DC - Hells Bells …  motivating but ok song

Yellowcard – Breathing: not a fan

Coheed & Cambria - Welcome Home.. love this song

Red Hot Chili Peppers - Around the World love this song !
