Anyone go??

i haven’t had the pleasure yet but maybe one of these years i’ll be able to make the trek. it’s like the Mecca for everything athletic, too bad it’s so far away from Cali.

The Arnolds Expo is absolutely insane.  They not only have figure, fitness, and body building competitions. 
 
They have UFC, javelin, dance, jump rope, ping pong, powder lifting, strong man, arm wrestling, wrestling, jujitsu, painting and so much more. 
 
There are about 200,000 people that attend this 3 day event.
 
Arnold Schwarzenegger, Sylvester Stallone, Victor Martinez, Jay Cutler, Kurt Angle, Dexter Jackson, Ronnie Coleman, Monica Brant, Pauline Nordin, The Hulk, and so many other well known icons attended this event signing autographs, sponsoring companies and taking pictures. 
Even Snookie from the Jersey shore was there, that was kind of weird but she does like muscles so it makes sense. 
 
If you are into fitness then I highly recommend visiting the Arnolds Expo at least once in your life time.  Every supplement and fitness company you can imagine is there promoting their products and giving away samples.
 
You will have a chance to see the top figure, fitness, body builders, and power lifters in the industry, gorgeous girls and guys modeling the floors and tons of fitness enthusiasts making their way into the crowd. 
 
Words can not describe this event. I had a blast…

The Arnold was great. It was my 4th time there. Highlights for me were meeting Lou Ferigno and Dorian Yates. I also saw Sylvester Stallone, Ronnie Coleman, Jay Cutler and many more.

Man that sounds like so much fun! Who were some of the other female
professionals there? You listed Monica Brant and Pauline Nordin, anyone else really big?

Man I hate Jersey Shore, stupid Snookie, haha.

Yea I’ve always wanted to attend but never quite had the right situation to get out there, always busy or something.

 
I also saw Angel Mraz, Jamie Eason, Ava Cowan and Allison Frahn just to name a few. 
I am right with you.. i can stand snookie from the Jeresy shore.. She makes us Jesery girls look bad.. She had a big crowd, i was shocked!!

Ugh, typical of stupid Americans to give Snookie more attention than Jamie Eason and Pauline Nordin, haha. It must’ve been amazing seeing all those women, I would be so inspired. Maybe I’ll splurge and make the trip next year…

I went and it was incredible.  I met almost every major star in the fitness industry.  I heard from one of the promoting assistants that the turnout was estimated at 180,000 people and almost 20,000 athletes.

it was CRAZY packed this year.. crazier then EVER but i had a great time.. i love the stong man competitions!!!
 
i think the dead lifts are my fave!!!!

I went and competed in the Weightrlifting portion of the competition. I didn’t really walk into the expo until sunday. I went on saturday, but, I literally could not walk it was soo packed. haha it was unbelievable. When I did go on sunday it was a blast though. I just walked around not touching too many people lol. It was nice. Sunday is always the best day to go if you want to actually be able to move around and not bump into a million people lol.

I think this is about my tenth time going. I love the whole thing. I have seen the shows, the expo, worked the expo, competed in events. I think it has something for everyone..especially meat heads( i mean that to include my self in a positive and caring way). It has changed a lot. I was at the very first Arnold in 89 and it is much much different. Just enormous. We are luck to have the event so close to us. I think most of the bigger events would be on the West Coast. Pete it gives us pale northerners something to stay in shape for. Collected tons of stuff and got great deals on some equipment. It is a great place to meet up with people just like myself and talk shop!

i agree.. sunday is always the best day to go.. it died down alot towards the end..
