What if you could never workout again due to injury, illness, time management ect..

What would you do??

Training and living a healthy life style defines who i am… I feel like I would completely loose my identity and immediately go through depression…

What other hobbies would you pick up?

Just want to hear your thoughts

Ooh, knitting is the best! It’s so relaxing and there’s such a sense of accomplishment when you finish that scarf…
In all seriousness, it would be tough, but I’ve always been a competitive athlete and would find something. If it came down to wheelchair racing, or even if i needed to strap into one of those wheelchairs where I direct with my chin, I would find some way to do something active, and I would still definitely coach and train athletes. I spent too many years in track and weightlifting not to be doing something.

Not sure if i would be into knitting but maybe cooking classes, photography and gardening… I always wanted to grow my own veggies and herbs!

I would deticate my life to the sport that gave me a chance, that saved my realationship with my parents and myself, stoped me from fighting, stopped me from trying to be someone I wasn’t, that kept me out of jail or dead, that forced me to put down the drugs and alchole, that gave me the chance to travel around the country and world, that introduced me to some of the greatest people that I now call family, that gave me a purpose in life instead of who’s going to be at the party? , that made me a California strength soldier.  I would become a full time coach, and give kids the same chance and dream that this sport gave me, and maybe a can save, change, motivate kids to be not only badd ass athletes in weightlifting, but better people in the future.  and thats that, I am forever gratefull  to this sport.

I would take cooking classes, photography, gardening, read my book (which I would have time for), Clothes shopping, spend more time with friends and family…

I guess that’s a start..

However, I would miserably depressed and i would be OCD with my diet.. not a good lifestyle for me..

i am a full blooded powerlifter. i train bench twice a week, one heavy shirted day and one D.E raw day. i hit heavy full gear squats on tuesdays, and D.E raw squats (or suited deadlifts) on saturdays. then i have upper back work on thursdays. everything geared towards hitting a big total.
