I am going to Miami for thanksgiving… I can’t wait !!!!!
It will be a big change being in the warm weather without a big thanksgiving dinner.
 
However, I am planning to go to a nice restaurant were they will serve thanksgiving type food…

What do you love most about thanksgiving ???
 

I will be with family but i hope to eat clean.This is the worst time for me, trying to eat clean and there is all the goodies around 24/7

I hear you.. Its so hard to eat clean during thanksgiving but its once a year .. ENJOY IT!!!!!!!!!!!!

 
Tips:
Watch your portions
Load your plate with white meat turkey (no skin)
Fill your plate with fibrous veggies
Make sure not to go to dinner hungry
eat a healthy filling breakfast
Drink plenty of water
Drink low calorie beverages
Avoid or limit stuffing and gravy
Avoid fried food
Avoid butter battered food such as mashed potatoes and cheesy casseroles
Bring a healthy dessert such as mixed fruits

What was your favorite dish??
Mine was the mixed vegetables; roasted carrots, turnips, yams, and butter nut squash.
 
I know I am such a dork!! But they were delicious  

 

 how was miami!? i was down in south beach last winter for a week.  it was amazing. i had such a good time.
my thanksgiving was good. got to spend some quality time with the fam. xmas is just around the corner and i’m not even done with my shopping yet.

Miami was awesome.  I am not a fan of south beach however i love north miami beach and  ft Lauderdale ( Las Olas).  My parents have a condo In North Miami beach right on the beach its GREAT!!!! I am a big fan of the warm weather

For Christmas… I am spending the holidays with my boy friends family.  Lots of yummy food, treats, and wine!!!  It’s the holidays …. I will definitely enjoy it!!!!
 I am going skiing in Steam Boat Colorado on January 16th… I am really looking forward to that trip.

 have a good time in colorado. my brother lives in colorado springs. i’m hoping to make it out there this winter to go skiing too.  he usually goes to breckenridge. i’m planning on just stayin home for the holidays

Skiing out west is amazing. Snow mass,  Steam boat, and Vail are my favorite ski mountains in Colorado. Snow bird,Uhta is also amazing.  Since we are on the topic, skiing is a great workout…I am shot by the end of the day.

Hey, I wish everyone a happy New Years …2010 baby!
Is anyone doing anything special?? we are hanging a get together/sleep over with our friends.  everyone is bringing a dish and drinks.  I cant wait!!!

I’ll be here with just my hubby and little princess in Missouri for Thanksgiving…but will be going to see my whole family for Christmas the 18th Of December! Yay, can’t wait!!
 
Thanksgiving is the best because it’s just the best meal ever and it reminds me once again all of the many blessings that I have to be thankful for!

I love the food and everyone is happy with full tummies, laughing and reminiscing…
 
This year we are going to my fiancés grandmother’s house… She lives on a farm with horse and TONS of property. I am so excited!! It’s a completely different lifestyle there…..
So peaceful and beautiful!
 
I am just brining dessert so i don’t have to go crazy cooking all day which is not too bad either…
