If you cheated on your diet… post here and make your self accountable for it…

lol, you’re a dork spitz.
i didn’t cheat, but i follow the 90-10 principle so it’s rare for me to consider anything cheating. here’s what i ate today though just in case you really did want to know:

breakfast
3 eggs + 3 egg whites
1/2 cup oatmeal
1 cup mixed frozen fruit (cherries, blueberries, strawberries, peaches)
1/2 cup milk
dash of cinnamon and bee pollen
yerba matte tea

snack
handful of trailmix (almonds, sunflower seeds, dried cranberries, golden raisins)
coffee

lunch
4 oz. smoked lean brisket
salsa verde
pan fried red potatoes with a dallop of sour cream
1 cup tortilla soup
mixed field greens salad with blue cheese dressing
iced tea (black)

dinner
8 oz encrusted seared ahi tuna
1/2 avocado
6 oz grilled broccolini
1 glass red wine
1 oz 85% cocoa dark chocolate

gonna have my prebed pudding before bed, and had an off day from lifting today. pretty typical day for me diet-wise.

Wow Pete that is alot of food.  What is your daily caloric intake..
 
You must have a great Metabolism..
 
Your meal plan looks awesome.. Well balanced and TASTY!!! I wish I could have a glass of wine every night..
 
You said that you go by the 90/10 rule.. Does this mean that you have a small cheat everyday or DO you do a once or twice a week cheat meal??

i’m actually leaning out right now, this is reduced calories for me.

to be completely honest i don’t count my macros or my calories. i base most meals on a protein/fat or a protein/carb setup, and i follow the basic principles of carb cycling as well. i don’t usually completely fill myself up so i find that i’ll be hungry in 2-3 hours, and for the most part i eat as clean as possible.

the 90-10 is more a principle than anything else. i eat clean almost all the time, but i’m not going to feel guilty when my friends call and want to go out to dinner and we go and gorge ourselves on sushi or burgers or chinese food. i am also not going to sweat putting some sour cream on my potatoes or blue cheese dressing on my salad, cause i know that 90% of the rest of what i put in my body is clean. i don’t count out 9 good meals and award myself 1 crappy meal or anything like that.
