I LOVE ILLY coffee… it’s actually an espresso coffee but does not taste strong AT ALL!!
It has a smooth rich taste that blows Donkin Donuts and starbucks away… I promise once you go Illy’s you will never turn back.

I could get free Donkin Donuts coffee when I like but I rather pay the extra money!! It is soooooo good.

Did you know that espresso has less caffeine then regular coffee…? I had no idea!!

I would have to vote for Peets coffee over anything else.

But any will do really!

I heard that you should only drink coffee before your workout to help increase cortisol levels and not after because you don’t want to raise levels of cortisol ( stress hormone) which tends to store fat…

What is your take on that?? I love drinking coffee for breakfast after a killer workout!!!

I actually like McDonald’s coffee which is surprisingly good. I know that place has a bad rep but whatever they use for their coffee is deceptively tasty, and since it’s only like $0.99 per cup it’s hard to beat.

i personally like to buy the organic coffee of the season at my local
whole foods store, usually from some South American country. I like to
grind it up coarse and french press it. it may sound snobby but its soo
good.

as far as drinking coffee after your morning
workouts, that is just another problem you will face with morning
workouts, of which there are many. any time you eat or do anything
really it raises your cortisol levels, and especially in the morning
when they are already elevated. you have to balance out the pros and
cons of eating breakfast or drinking coffee and getting the nutrients
and caffeine boost, vs the small detrimental effect of raising your
cortisol levels. i wouldn’t sweat it too much.

The idea sounds cool but

Svelte is a complete load of crap!

Did you read the ingredients?

If you want coffee with protein in it just add some protein power into your coffee or just eat some kind of protein source on the side…

I would mix vanilla protein in water (concentrated) and add it into your coffee as a milk replacement

honestly i was too distracted by the flavor options to check the entire label… do you put powder in your coffee a lot?  does the heat of the coffee affect the protein powder’s effectiveness at all?

I usually just add a little skim milk but i do really like the taste of vanilla protein powder as a replacement… I just don’t think of it every morning lol…

The heat should not ruin the protein…

I am not sure about all protein powders; however there maybe a “raw material” ingredients which are affected by heat… As far as the protein it shouldn’t…
