why does our bodies process carbs faster in the morning then in the afternoon? Why isnt this the same for proteins or anything else?

Our body processes carbs the best in the morning (when you wake up) because your body is in starvation mode due to not eating for 6-8 hour during your sleep…
 
Your body is depleted from glycogen; therefore, when you eat carbs in the morning they will not be stored as fat they will be used to refill your glycogen stores and muscles.
