As the holidays approach there are so many things going on. Family gatherings, socials at work, getting together with friends. With all that said that means lots of food, lots of sweet treats,It’s hard to pass up that piece of key lime pie, or home made chocolate chip cookies. So  I find it hard to do, I always seem to gain 3-4 pounds , but try to maintain my regular fitness schedule.
I have learned I don’t have to have that second plate of food, or second dessert, but i will take a larger portion on the first plate and maybe pass on the salad, and have one large piece of dessert. As well as working out hard in the mornings.
So do you do anything different to stay fit during the holidays?

I try to keep things COMPLETELY the same. Just trying to keep it as regular as possible. Of course, I don’t trael for the holidays usually so it is not as big of a deal for me as most people. If I had to travel I would probably allow myself to have xmas and new years to have a few cheat meals and be lazy. I mean, they are the best times to see family and to relax (in my opinion). Of course, if I were a professional athlete I wouldn’t take a single day off!

I think diets are hard to keep during the holidays but not impossible. You should be able to keep excerising though for the most part

I would agree diets are difficult during the holidays but if you keep up your workout routine its okay to splurge once in awhile. we can’t disappoint our grandmas home cooking . :)

Yuck! I think if you are going to have a cheat meal you might as well truly enjoy it - and eat all the cookies you want with loads of sugar haha! Gobble it up, no pun!
