I am just curious if you guys eat many nuts or seeds? Cashews, almonds, anything? I realized recently that I basically eat ZERO nuts or seeds. Maybe once a month I might have a cup or so if I am lucky. I definitely need to change that.

How many nuts or seeds do you guys eat?
i try to integrate nuts and seeds into my diet where possible, but don’t rely on them too much. i like to get walnuts, almonds, cashews, pistachios, pecans, pine and brasil nuts, and sunflower, pumpkin, chia and flax seeds in my diet when i can.
they are really really nutrient and fat dense, so depending on your goals you have to watch that you don’t eat too many of them, but they are filled with tons of good nutrients and fats, and provide a nice bit of protein on top of it. they make for a great snack.

Are you serious?? You make your own nut butter?? How do you do that? I am seriously really interested in this. Why? IS it because how you make it is healthier than what you buy? Is it for taste?
its healthier and i just like the taste better.
you can make almond butter by blending raw almonds for a goof 5-10 min until it gets creamy.
i take that out of hte blender and just and and mix in with a spoon,, whole golden flax seed, raw sun flower seeds, slivered almonds, and brazilian nuts.. i love love love it.. its adds a great crunch and great flavors.. its also also alog cheaper to mkae your own nut butter..
i do cheat most of the time adn just buy raw alomond butter.. there are a few fresh markets that blend the almonds or nut butter right in front of you!!! try it out.. you can even add cocoa powder and natural sugars to make chocholate nut butter. the options are endless
