What are some common, healthy foods that have ZERO or very little sodium in them? I am looking just to shed like 5lbs of water weight in a week or two and just want to do it by cutting out some sodium (As I know it makes you retain a bit of water). Any help guys?

Most WHOLE non processed foods have very little sodium.
All veggies, (asparagus is great for cutting water weight)
Lean poultry, beef, wild game, and some fish
Fruits
Oatmeal, quinoa, brown rice ect (not sure if complex carbs are good for cutting water weight though.
Be careful of dairy (look at labels)
Just stay away from certain:, condiments (salad dressings, ketchup, sauce), Packaged foods such as frozen pre made dishes, snack bars, chips, (high sodium) soups
Cold cuts, salted nuts, bacon, salted or canned meats ect
I hope this helps.
JUST THINK WHOLE FOODS

Thanks for all the replies guys! I always thought regular ground beef actually had quite a bit of sodium? Maybe it was just with all the seasoning I threw on there haha. I knew deli meats did have a lot as well. It just seems hard when cutting weight to find foods without sodium anymore.
check out these two muscledog articles.. it answers your questions to a T!!!
Part Three discussed what you should drink, and whether pure water is superior to any other beverage as a source of H2O. In
Parts Four and Five, we will talk about where you should get your water from, and whether or not that really even makes a difference.

I think were it comes from is probably a bit more pschological than physiologic. but rinsing definitely helps with products that are packed with additional sodium probably for preservative purpposes. When you want to be incredibly sharp I have also done distilled water. Not recommended for long term use but I have dropped 10 lbs over night from loading and restricting for competition. You definitely bloat up afterward but it works great for about 2 days.
Well - the super bowl this weekend made me take a HUGE hit in my weight loss. Argh. Now, I Have to restart. Haha I have about a week left where I have to cut the weight, so, I do have time. But WOW did I enjoy the super bowl food. I forgot to mention PIZZA on the other thread too. Ridiculous.
hahah the super bowl will do that to you.. i dont understand why baseball does not have crazy “super bowl” like games.. the players get paid more which makes no sense… why dont people make such a big deal with base ball and the play offs?
Oh i see… ok that makes more sense why they get paid more…
BUT!! Why don’t they get a HUGE super bowl “like” event… baseball does not get 3 million dollar commercials and “literally” a holiday of eating and drinking??
I like baseball better so i would love to see a big even like that…
Watching baseball is the absolutely worst time ever. I HATE when baseball is on TV. Ugh. What, 162 games? 162?????? RIDICULOUS. They should have like 16. That would be enough for me. Then I could maybe watch a game or 2 haha. Unbelievable.
I can’t say much about hockey, though. I have never watched a full hockey game. I only ever watch Hockey and Baseball during the championship series and the elimination games. Haha usually at either games 5, 6, or 7. But, only when one fo the teams has a chance to close it out.
