How many meals do you REALLY eat a day?

I know a lot of people claim to eat 6-8 meals a day, but, most days they will only day 4-5. Or, vice versa. I am curious how many do you guys eat a day?
I would honestly say I eat a good 3 per day. No more no less. With a snack before bed Iw ould say. Of course, I would like to cut that snack out of there eventually. But, I just haven’t seena huge difference between eating 3 and like 7 a day. I just hate thinking about food that much.

ummm I love food!! i wish i coudl eat 8 times a day! lol
 
i eat about 5 meals a day.. (Small meals) if i am super hungry i will have protein shake or pudding before bed just to kill my sweet tooth..
 
there is so much talk saying you shoudl eat 6 times a day or just 3 times a day.. which one is right?? i guess whatever works for your own body

yeah, my schedule pretty much lmiits me to a typical breakfast-lunch-dinner format, but of course with the occasional snack and my pre-peri-post workout shakes, and sometimes even a prebed shake. i used to eat 4-5 times a day but just don’t have the time to eat that many meals these days.

My diet changes pretty drastically based on what my goals are like. I really have a very basic diet set up. This is only a quick sample:
Breakfast: 4 egg whites, 1c oatmeal, 1c milk
1 scoop no shotgun pre workout
Protein post workout
8oz chicken or fish, veggies, milk
1 scoop no shotgun
protein post workout
eggs or steak, salad, water
before bed: peanut butter protein pudding

wow!! you eat egg >>whites glenn woudl never allow this?? lol are you on a cutting diet?
 
pete and all the guys yell at me know i say i eat egg whites and not the full egg

I gotta say that I probably eat more like 2 big meals (breakfast and dinner) with a whole lot of snacking in between. I don’t usually have much time to eat a big lunch, and I’m so active during the day anyways that I’m never very hungry, but by the time dinner rolls around I am ready for a nice big, satisfying meal. I’ve never really understood how people can eat a full 6-8 meals. That seems crazy to me. Then again a lot of my friends say I eat like a bird and just pick at smaller stuff, so maybe it’s just the way I am…

i am just like  you.. i have a big breakfast.. protein pancake.. 1/2 cup oatmeal 3/4 cup eagg whites and 1/2-3/4 cup berries
 
then i have 3-4 snack during the day (protein pudding, egg whites and roasted peppers, turnips ect and a nice big dinner full of flavor!
 
i guess thats normal though…
 
i it a desk all day so snacking makes the time go buy i guess lol

So for your protein pudding you just put regular, unflavored Oatmeal in there (1/2 cup), then about 3-4 egg whites, then 1/2 cup of berries? Do you just use frozen berries? Strawberries? Blueberries? A mix? Or are they fresh? I am just curious..I want to give that  shot! I have made protein pancakes before…1 egg + 1 scoop Strawberry protein + blueberries. It tastes sort of like cardboard after a while though lol.

I follow the whole 3 main meals a day + 2 snacks throughout the day plan. I tend to eat a smaller breakfast because I wake up and wiithin about 45 minute am out the door. I will drink some light energy type drink (Healthy…Green Tea or a quarter scoop of my pre-workout drink), but usually dont eat until about an hour or so later. IT is usually something light at that point. There are a LOT of days where I just eat TWO main meals in a day, and 1 or 2 snacks. OF course, I have 1 protein shake about 5 days a week that I don;t count as s snack, so, maybe 2-3 actual snacks a day on most days.

i put 3/4 cup egg whites, 1/2 bob mills 5 grain oat meal… 1/3 cup fresh blueberries, 1/3 cup frozen cranberries… a ton of cinnimon ike 2 tbsp!! i let it sit and thicken for a couple minutes.. then i cook it for a while.. about 12 min per side.. i top it with greek yogurt and stevia.. i love it!

mike.. whyy dont you count your protein shake as a snack.. its still calories???
