That sounds interesting TJ… I might have to try that.. I sometimes mix egg whites, ground turkey with peppers, and sweat potatoes on the side.  A nice protein and carb packed breakfast.

I must say, I am also a big fan of protein pancakes. They are easy to make and taste great.

LLulko.. I will definitely try some of your recipes

Warm Buckwheat Granola
Serves 2

Ingredients
1 cup water
1⁄2 cup buckwheat
4 large egg whites
1⁄4 cup quick-cooking oats
1⁄4 cup seedless raisins
1 Tbsp. brown sugar
1⁄4 tsp. ground cinnamon
1⁄8 tsp. ground nutmeg
Nonstick cooking spray

Directions

1.In a small saucepan with a tight-fitting lid, bring water to a boil. Stir in buckwheat. Return to a boil, reduce heat to simmer, cover and continue cooking until water is completely absorbed, about 10 minutes.

2.Meanwhile, whisk the egg whites in a medium mixing bowl, then add oats, raisins, sugar and spices. Stir to combine thoroughly.

3.Add cooked, warm buckwheat to egg-white mixture and mix well.

4.Heat a medium-size nonstick skillet coated with cooking spray over medium heat; add egg-white-and-buckwheat mixture. Stir and scrape the bottom of the skillet as granola cooks. When eggs are cooked and mixture looks dry, remove from heat and serve. Eat this whenever you want a hearty meal.

I have a confession to make…

I am addicted to protein pancakes.  I want them for breakfast lunch and dinner!! I LOVE THEM

They are the greatest invention EVER…

You can make them however you like because they are so versatile.

My favorite protein pancake is

-½ - ¾ cup egg whites
-½ cup oatmeal
-Stevia
-Pumpkin spice
-optional (baking soda)

Cook like a pancake on a non stick skillet (i use evoo pam spray)

Optional: add any fruit, reduced sugar syrup, honey, agave, dried fruits, nuts, pumpkin, flax seed, protein powder ect!!

I make a different concoction almost everyday… they are amazing!

I even make them ahead of time and eat them as a snack… (My favorite snack on the plane!)

Protein Pumpkin Pancakes

The Recipe
1 1/2 cups Egg Whites International
1 cup Quick Oats
1/2 cup canned 100% Pure Pumpkin..(NOT pumpkin pie mix)
2 to 3 packets of Splenda
Nutritional Information for the entire recipe:
(Not including your topping of choice)
Calories: 367
Protein: 47g
Carbs: 34g
Take all the above ingredients and pour into a blender. Blend at highest speed for about 1 minute. The ingredients will thicken a tad. Spray PAM into a frying pan that is on medium heat. You can make them any size you like. I made mine medium sized and I was able to make 4 of them. Cook these the exact same way you would cook a normal pancake. They do not “fluff up” as much as normal pancakes so keep that in mind.
Note: You can top with Honey, Natural Peanut Butter, Sugar Free Syrup, Banana etc. I topped mine with 2 TBSP of Sugar Free Syurp.

I am kind of partial to breakfast burritos made with Jimmy Dean sausage crumbled and mixed with scrambled eggs, a bit of cheese on top, and, of course, a sprinkling of louisiana sauce.  Add in a big glass of milk and maybe an orange or something, and you have yourself a meal.

Those protein pancakes are amazing!
I usually make a 6 egg omelette (4 of them whites), with turkey and cheese. Then, some 100% OJ. Pretty simple but delicious :)

There are much better protein options then jimmy dean sausages…

Hey! I don’t care if you eat that… if it makes you happy go for it…

But someone that is serious about their diet and health should not mimic your breakfast advice… Everyone wants to build muscle but avoid gaining fat and heart disease!

I am really not sure why this is but I am never hungry in the morning, does anybody know why this is??   I force myself to eat in the morning before training becuase thats what coach wants, so I do, but I dont like.  If it was up to my body a monster energy drink and a cigarete would be all I need, and to be honest I would have a great workout.  When I do eat i really like egg sandwitches, oat meal, or pancakes with peanut butter!  extra crunchy.   why am I never hungry in the morning, can any body answer this????!!!!
