According to research, eighty percent of the people who are over weight eat a small breakfast, or non at all.  Eighty percent of thin people eat a large breakfast.  Your breakfast should consist as of much as you want of the following iteams.  All kinds of fruits, bread, raw butter, milk, yogurt, salmon, beef in any form, chicken in any form, eggs, tomatoes, your favorite veggies, coffe in limited amounts, I need my coffee, and dont forget, drink a glass of water ammediately upon waking up.  jon north two thousand and twelve.

What do you eat for breakfast?
My favorite meal of the day!!!

Every morning I have….

-Oatmeal…..I cook them like granola, I literally burn my pot every morning (I hate mushy oatmeal). I add 1 cup of chopped strawberries, stevia and a few raison

-4 scrambled egg whites with Himalayan sea salt, pepper and paprika.

-1-2 cups of Illys coffee…

that’s right, gotta kick start that metabolism every morning and “break” your “fast”.

my typical breakfast looks like:
coffee
a shot of green drink (trader joe’s brand, really the only juice i drink)
3 whole eggs + 3 whites, basted and covered with cholula/tapatio
and
a bowl of high fiber cereal (at least 5+ grams) + banana
or
1/2 cup oatmeal
1 tbsp freshly ground flax seed
2 cups frozen fruit
dash cinnamon and bee propolis

i’ll mix in the occasional omelet, french toast or yogurt parfait but for the most part that’s my typical breakfast every morning.

I heard that you should not eat eggs everyday because you can get a food allergy from them.  I heard that you should cycle or limit your egg intake.. is there any truth to this?  I eat eggs everyday

Dairy, Ralph’s, Boomsma’s, Sunshine, Hillandale, Trafficanda, Farm
Fresh, Shoreland, Lund, Dutch Farms, and Kemps. Recalled eggs are in

Dont worry about eating your eggs.  For the first 15 years of my life, I had eggs for breakfast every single morning.  For much of that time, I not only ate them, but got up early and went to the henhouse to get them.  Ever reached inside a chicken coop at 6am and come back with a handfull of a six foot long kingsnake instead of an egg?  lol.  I have, but thats another story.

Dont fear eggs, including the yolk!!!

Plus, Laura, for the love of God.  Please.  You choose one hot sauce over another because of sodium???????  WTF??????

Let me say this, get yourself a bottle of louisianna hot sauce, experience it, and then KNOW why all other hot sauces are only suitable for emergencies when you cant get LHS.

Thanks Glenn, I was questioning this because Charles Poliquin stated that you can develop food allergies from eggs if you eat them every day…

And NO! I never even reached my hand inside a chicken coop let alone a 6 foot king snake lol.. I want to hear this story!

Laura, I grew up on a farm.  We grew all our own vegetables.  We butchered or hunted our own meat.  Our chickens laid our eggs.  We milked our own cows, churned our own butter.  And when I was young, I gathered eggs in the mornings.  Snakes like to eat eggs, and will often curl up in a laying nest.  At 6am an 8 year old is often tired and just reaches without looking.  And so sometimes, every once in a while, your hand comes out with a handfull of snake instead of an egg.  Not the biggest deal in teh world since egg-theiving snakes are not poisonous.  Never know a copperhead or rattler to be in a chicken coup.  And besides, you could smell a coperhead long before you reached in anyway.  They smell kind of like cucumbers.

Charles Poloquin also stated the following cut and paste…  do you believe this also???

More Poliquin goodness-
“The elements are Fire, Wood, Earth, Metal, and the fifth element, despite what you might have learned in
the Bruce Willis movie of the same name, is not an orange-haired fashion model in Spandex; it is Water.
Amazingly, each of these ancient classifications predicts quite accurately how different strength athletes
respond to different types of training. It also predicts quite accurately their personalities and even their
weaknesses.
For years I have listened to people disparage this type of training or that type of training, saying that
whatever they were doing did not work for them. Some said that the Westside style is no good, or that
German Volume Training did not work for them. The simple truth is that they were likely doing the wrong
type of training for their type, or element!

For instance, Fire types are the most gifted as far as weight training. They tend to do a high volume of high
intensity work. I know, I know, a high volume of high intensity work would seem paradoxical to Mike
Mentzer and H.I.T. types, but it is possible for Fire types. They can train heavy all the time without crashing
—as long as you change the exercises. They have such a high concentration of high-twitch fibers that will
become winded playing Nintendo.
Conversely, Earth types can stay on a set program for a long time. You have to first stress them with
volume, and then stress them with intensity. Each phase is about 3 weeks. When they overtrain, their
immune system will suffer and they’ll come down with a cold. They are also the ones that have the most
trouble reducing carbohydrates in their diet, and it is much harder for them to get lean.
As far as the Fire, Wood and Earth types, none are necessarily disadvantaged when it comes to
bodybuilding or strength sports, but it is important for them to train for their type. Obviously, pure types are
not that common and most people fall somewhere in-between the five points of the continuum:
FIRE > WOOD > EARTH > METAL > WATER
You may have noticed that I have not paid much attention to the metal or water types. They are,
unfortunately, guys who generally will never make much progress. They have bad nervous systems, the
wrong muscle fibers, and poor endocrine systems. Usually, though, these guys end up being attracted to
non-weightlifting activities like yoga, or stamp collecting. “

If you do not prefer LHS to all other hot sauces, it will prove once and for all that you are a communist.  Communists are the only group that have been scientifically proven to NOT prefer LHS.

Yeah, it’s probably a little hotter than Chulola, but probably not quite as hot as tobasco.  It’s the flavor that I like though.  You can always use more or less to control the heat, but if the flavor is off you cant change that…  and I just like the LHS flavor way better than other hot sauces, especially for things like a beef stew, gumbo, or most other soups.  I will admit, Chulola is pretty good on eggs.

The only thing that I prefer tabasco sauce on is oysters, along with a little horseraddish of course.

This has nothing to do with hot sauce but my favorite condiment, sauce, or what ever you call this concoction is:

1 tbsp hummus
1 tbsp feta cheese
5-8 cherry tomatoes (chopped) and all mixed together

I love adding/mixing this with roasted vegetables (broccoli, cauliflower, sugar snap peas, asparagus, string beans ect) or flank steak, white fish, chicken, salmon and other types of meat..

Seriously… This will blow your mind…
