The benefits would probably be all about avoiding food allergies/sensitivities. Gluten intolerance is a pretty big problem so this might be a convenient fix, but at the same time this is probably processed in some weird way and you just never know what food companies will add or how the processing will alter how your body treats the food…

i’m not sure how they would completely remove the gluten from oats (maybe GMO?), but oats are naturally pretty low in gluten content. there have been a lot of studies pointing both ways, some showing that oats are actually okay for people with Ceilacs, and some showing that Celiacs sufferers still can’t tolerate oats.

i’d say it’s a case by case basis on whether or not oats are okay, but more often than not they are probably fine. i would agree with nuwanee about trying to avoid stuff that has been too processed or genetically modified, since it isnt in a natural state that your body has experienced before. this might actually just be a marketing ploy with Bob’s grains trying to prey on people’s “gluten” fear with the rising number of glutards out there, but who knows.

You guys have a point, I am sure they are processed in some way or another unless it is made with something completely different and shaped like oats.

I was curious to know what they tasted like so I bought a bag of it.. They tasted pretty much the same, I could not even taste the difference. I will finish off the bag and see if I notice any difference with bloating, fat loss, energy levels ect…

well like i said before, they could just be mislabeling. oats are naturally really really low in gluten content, so maybe they are just preying on glutards by putting that on there. do they have a “normal” rolled oats version that they say has gluten?

you might have just paid an extra $1 for “gluten free” when they really aren’t anything other than normal rolled oats
