Here is a recipt for a low fat turkey dinner.
Even though turkey time is coming up and usually everyone eats there mom’s turkey or grandma’s, there are other yummy ways to eat turkey.
Here is a dish called Low Fat Turkey Chili.
Ingredients:
2 tsp canola oil
2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
1 medium onion, chopped
1 small jalapeno pepper, chopped
1 tbsp chili powder
2 tsp cumin
1 tsp oregano
1 pound 93% fat free ground turkey
1 15 ounce can cannellini beans, rinsed and drained
1 1/2 cups fat-free, low sodium chicken broth
1 1/2 cups sweet corn
Directions:
eat oil in large skillet on medium heat. Sauté garlic, onions and
jalepeno until onion has softened, about 6-7 minutes. Add ground turkey,
and break apart with wooden spatula or spoon. Cook until no longer
pink. Add cannellini beans and chicken broth. Simmer for 25 minutes. Add
sweet corn and simmer for 5 more minutes.

This is great but i think on thanksgiving you cant worry about diets. Its a time to come together and eat with your family. One cheat day a year wont kill nobody.
