I like my cottage cheese like that, too, MadMax!  Also, with sliced banana and fresh raspberries.  I do the same thing with Organic lowfat, plain yogurt.

I used to put sliced apples and cinnamon on top of the cottage cheese. I like the flavor and the cinnamon is good for insulin sensitivity so i’ve heard.

Yeah I’ve read that cinnamon is good for digestion, good for your blood sugar and your cholesterol!

Cottage cheese and other slow digesting foods (casein protein powder, fat free milk, fat free yogurt ect) help prevent catabolism.

Catabolism aids in breaking down your muscles.
Your body is basically in starvation mode while you are sleeping because you are not feeding or nourishing your body for many hours.

So eat your cottage cheese!!!

Cottage cheese is a great and tasty slow digesting snack which slowly releases nutrients into your body while you are sleeping and prevents catabolism and promotes anabolism throughout the night

Also, adding low-fat versions of cottage cheese, casein, fat free milk and yogurt are great ways to boost protein intake and aid fat loss.
