What are your guys favorite bodypart to train?
-
Some are going to kill me for saying this….but it has to be said - chest and triceps for me! hahahahahah no joke. 99.9% of people would guess that I love to train legs the most, but, I am such a meathead at heart. There is no feeling like a good old bro day feeling all swole. If I could (and I will in like ten years) I would just bench and do upper body for the majority of my workouts. Of course, I will still do lower body, but, I will be wrestling a lot at that point too..
-
Anyway, what is your favorite bodypart to train?

i know legs are killer!! i feel the most intensity from legs however i like training shoulders and triceps..

i just love feeling that burn from a good drop set!! i injured my shoulder 3 months ago and i have not been able to do shoudler press!! maybe this is why i am having a love relationship with it lol..

i like back but HATE doing pull ups and that is in most of my back workouts

I hate to admit it but I had a BRO Day today hahaha!! I benched 185kg (407lbs) on my first time doing a 1 rep max in over 3 years!!! I guarantee I am going to be sore tomorrow. I just stopped there even though I probably had a bit more in me. I Decided to build on it possibly.
-
Of course, I could not be done there. I had to go ahead and do 4 sets of 8 on curls, some strict pullups, and flex around the gym. LOL kidding about the flexing part but boy it was a fun sunday!!

I really love back training deads pulls, it always seems like a practical type movement. They make me feel thick. Since you can’t see it all the time it is always a surprise to see if you make improvements.

I gotta say I love leg days. I was a soccer player so I’ve always worn shorts and I have to say I’m a little vain about the way my legs look! If I don’t train them for a week I go nuts thinking about it, haha…

I always loved training legs…running too many races always gets in the way of good heavy training. This summer I am going to devote a bit more to some good leg training

Mine is shoulders! For some reason I have always had stronger shoulders than anything else. I am not really sure why, but, I seem to do really well on shoulder presses, raises, etc. It does carry over to benching and whatnot because of the anterior deltoids. I just don’t get why everything else has to be so weak (relatively to my shoulders haha). Sort of funky but it is probably because I train them HEAVY 2x/week

I was talking to someone about this the other day and came to the conclusion that basically people love to train the bodypart that is the strongest or the best looking for them haha. However, I came to the conclusion personally that most people shy away from training their weaknesses. Although, true champions prioritize their weaker bodyparts first in the workouts, or first in the week. That way they can bring it up to par. They make their weaknesses strengths and their strengths superhuman strengths. haha ya know? I think that is the attitude we have to have!

i have to say that i love training either legs or back. since a lot of athletes train in our gym, they always tease me for training legs since i’m not competing in any sports and my goal is only to look good naked, but all the best bang for your buck exercises involve your legs! and besides, i think that if you are defined and muscular all over, you’ll look better naked. i think having definition and size in those areas like your legs and back make you look much better than just having ripped chest and biceps. i prefer a much fuller look and think people with skinny legs and flabby backs aren’t nearly as attractive as someone who obviously works out the other parts.

See, for people who want to look good naked I think you are in the 1% of the world who has that outlook haha! Pretty much every other human being on this planet just wants the chest and biceps. Well, and ABS of course. I like that outlook. I think guys with huge arms and chest but no legs/back just look so unproportional that it’s just nasty. Lol they just look awful.

I agree with you pete… i mostly workout my legs and back.. more bang for  your buck as you said..

I cant stand when guys have huge biceps/chest and little chicken legs..

It looks ridiculous.. Your goal should be to look proportional.

Mike.. it is so funny how people love training their strong assets.. i guess i am the same way..

i really should change my thinking because i should focus on weak points..
Then again i am not training for anything and my goal is just to look good naked as pete said.. i just stick with compound exercises minus shoulder press =(
My shoulder is still hurt..

I think guys typically care less about their physique until they are around someone with a body mainly at the beach or water park setting. Then they will begin the excuse route. When I see some one with a physique well balanced or inshape I almost always comment just to let them know what they are doing is appreciated. And not in a creepy way.

hahaahaha! So true.Sooooo true. Guys don’t care like 330 days out of the year, but, those 35 days of the year where they see s big old jacked dude they care and get all defensive. Well “If I took steroids I would look like tha ttoo.” Or, “Well, I don’t have all day every day to work out so obviously anyone can look like that if all you do is workout.”
-
How about you shut up and just admit you’re a piece of crap who doesn’t care about fitness???? Seriously. You wouldn’t look like that even if you took steroids moron because you don’t care enough. Haha sorry, just couldnt agree more musclegym2.

I think it is funny that when I go to the beach I am always thinking there are going to be tons of inshape people and I am almost always incredibly shocked when I look around and see how many people just don’t care about themselves or what the do to them selves.

mike!!! hahah you just got me all fired up!! this happened to me the other day..

Some women came up to me and said “wow i wish i was young again so i can look like you”

I wanted to ninja kick her in the FACE!!!

Its not just age lady!! It’s a life style.. why don’t you wake your fat as* up at 5 am, spend hours cooking a week, and learn a little self control around food.  Its NOT JUST AGE!!
People always have some excuse why they cant lose weight

If i gain weight i NOW WHY!! I don’t make an excuse.. i know i was bad and lacked self control.. i don’t go blaming it on my age, my friends, time management ect.. everyone is busy.. people have kids, full times jobs, two jobs, school, sick family members ect.. I am sure you can find 45 in your day to train, and have some self control around food.. no excuse.. the only excuse is your weakness..

When i see someone in shake i have a ton of respect for them and compliment them.. i don’t make excuses why i don’t look like them.. i just give them credit because they deserve it

My favorite bodypart to train has actually changed. It went from chset and triceps (ok, that is two bodyparts) to my shoulders! I have been loving doing all this shoulder work recently…From shoulder presses (strict) to push presses, to behind the neck jerks, to lateral raises, to front DB raises. Just everything about it. The pump I feel on my shoulders almost feels different than anywhere else. Maybe because it is so condensed? I don’t know, but I have a shoulder day today too! Yahhhoo!
