Looking for tips on how to maintain a chiseled abdomen while bulking up my arms. I can’t seem to find the perfect balance. In the past I’ve had decent sized arms but lost all the definition in my abs, and currently I have good definition in my abs but the rest of my body is pretty scrawny. Any tips on finding a balance?

this is one of the biggest dilemmas that faces lifters. you need to gain roughly 15-20 lbs to gain one inch on your arms. at the same time you have to be really lean and keep your body fat % low to keep your abs showing, but gaining the weight to add the size to your arms will inevitably result in gaining fat.
i would recommend going with the lean look, maintaining the abs, and working on building up your arms in different ways, such as working on parts around them to make them look bigger. if you develop your forearms, shoulders, and do things such as reverse curls which will blow up your brachialis (a muscle that runs under your biceps) it will help make your arms look bigger. another thing people don’t realize is that the triceps muscles are almost 3 times the size of your biceps, so if you don’t focus on your triceps your arms won’t get bigger arms either.
hope this helps…
