What are your thoughts about these power balance bracelets?
 
I had someone test it out on me and my balance and energy did improve..
 
Was this in my head or is this the real deal??

i’m gonna go out on a limb and say this is a crock of crap gimmick
nice looking bracelet though with that cute little hologram

 
Honestly i don’t know… I hear really great things about this bracelet and i am not one to fall for gimmicks…
 
I tried it out and my balance really did improve… I don’t know if was mental but there was a big difference…
 
I also here stories were people didn’t know the person placed the bracelet on their shoulder and made them try the balance test… There balance improved as well…

The demonstration they use to prove that it works is an old stage magician’s trick called Applied Kinesiology. With a couple of very subtle tricks, the performer is able to fool the victim into thinking he has either more or less strength. Power Balance didn’t even change the name of the trick, presumably guessing that people are too stupid to look it up on the Internet to see how it’s done (unfortunately, they’re right about this, all too often). Power Balance bracelets are sold just on the strength of this illusion.

It makes me think twice about these bracelets… I really feel cheated if there is truth to this
 
I am a little confused because my own friend tried it on me… I can’t see her trying to trick me…
 
I really skeptical about this kind of stuff however I am still going to look into it…

What about baseball players that wear it, why would a professional athlete give it the time of day?

don’t feel cheated, llulko (although, i did already put one on layaway for X-mas, so you can test it out yourself when it comes in)…we could all use a little more balance…:)

seriously though, i’m the same way about this sort of thing…it’s not your friend trying to trick you—it’s just mind over matter…it’s the sales ppl trying to trick us.

it goes to show though, that if something seems too good to be true…it probably is (even if we don’t want to believe it)….at least that’s what my dad always preaches….

Wow, that’s a great video, I have always been skeptical of these types of demonstrations but never knew how they worked. Thanks for sharing! Now I’ll know for sure not to get duped into buying one. How do these people sleep at night knowing that they are fooling people?

Once agian why would professional athletes wear it..
 
I would not trun this down so fast..  Look into it and maybe try it out yourself …
 
 

Things like this need to be publicized as much as possible.  There will always be a few suckers and idiots who buy this crap, but no on wants the rank and file of fitness enthusiasts to fall for it.

i honestly belive there is truth to these bracelets.. People that have them swear by them.. Why would htey be out this long with new brands if they didnt work…
