Vitamon C

 
Is it important to take Vitamon C every day, or is it effecoient to take it 3 times per week?
 
 
 
water soluble vitamins like C are best taken every day.  2-3 grams a day is good for most people…  if your an athlete id recommend at least 5 grams a day.
 
 
 
Good because I have never really taken Vitamin C  , and would like to start.
 
 
 
most people would do well just taking an everyday multi-vitamin to start, but adding in some extra fruit to your diet wouldn’t be a bad idea either. you’d be hard pressed to find a multi-vitamin or good piece of fruit that couldn’t help you get more vitamin C.
 
 
 
but lots of fruits are full of sugar isn’t that right?
 
 
 
Yep, what Glenn said is some really good advice. lori1971- they do have sugars in there but you have to understand that fruit IS healthy. IT is just if you eat like 6 oranges at once or something ridiculous. The amount of antioxidants in fruits is just amazing. They are superfoods!

Me too! I hadn’t had a tangerine until like 2 years ago. I had no idea what I was missing. Better than oranges even!
 
 
 
What made you want to start taking vitamin c just out of curiousity? Was it a recommendation from a friend, a doctor?
 
 
 
no it wasn’t a recommendation, but I have always heard doctors, moms, fitness experts say “always take your Vitamin C … I know its suppose to be healthy for you, so I thought I would. Your thoughts?

OF course! Vitamin C is one of the most important vitamins (if not THE most important) vitamins to keep yourself from getting sick. It is the SUPER vitamin haha.
