Has anyone ever tried this? It is BSN’s new version of pre-workout. Obviously they still have the No-Xplode (now version 2.0), but theyt just came out with this. I believe they came out with it to compete with Jack3d. It has almost identical packaging and servings per container. One thing I can tell you is that it does taste delicious and gives you a similar feel as Jack3d. So far I am a fan of it. I cycle through a lot of pre-workouts just to try to get a different kick out of each one. So far, 1 week in, I am impressed! Blue Raspberry tastes delicious, too.

Umm, not necessarily the jitters, no. However, I tihnk it has some sort of black pepper or something because it leaves a weird spice on my tongue. Yes, a spice. haha. I don’t know if it is supposed to be some sort of a flushing agent (like niacin) or something, but that is why I chug it. It does have 270mg of caffeine per serving.

I absolutely can tell a difference. I am enjoying it big time right now. I do wish I could get rid of that weird spice, but, overall I am very happy with it. I swear I have a LOT more energy and endurance in my workouts. I am sure there is a small placebo effect, but, I welcome that too haha!

I guess i try to limit my supplement intake by not taking pre or post workout drinks, creatine ect..

I try to have only one serving of protein powder a day too.. i like the whole foods approach… i do take alot vitamins though… maybe to many

multi, fish oil, cla, b12, vitamin d, vitamin c

do you think its to much.. what would you eliminate or add?

That is not too much at all! I would check your multivitamin though and see how much of those other ones it has in there. MAny QUALITY multivitamins include good amounts of what you mentioned (Especially B12). Just something to look for anyway. The 1 protein shake a day thing is great too! I know a lot of people feel better when they take in less whey protein than when they take in like 5-6 scoops per day (Stomach wise). I know I do recover better when I add in 2-3 shakes per day. I guess I am right between the two sides of thinking! Not too much, not too little…But jussssst right!

Thanks!! I take opti women muti vitamin so i will look into it… i didn’t think it was too much either…

I think i need to change up my protein powder though… i love it but I think it’s good to change it up… It’s just hard to find one with low fat and low carb that makes amazing protein pudding constancy…

I take 1/2 scoop mhp probolic and 1/2 scoop low carb isopure…  the mhp gives it a cookie dough feel…

Can you recommend a good protein for this that taste good??

I am a little hesitant of mhp probolic because it has soy in it… i think it might be a little junked up… i think my skin brakes out from it time to time..

Your protein that you are taking is just fine! That is some very high quality protein you are taking. Your multivitamin is also a good one! The Opti-Women from Optimum Nutrition is a very solid, basic, multivitamin. I have taken Opti-Men from Optimum Nutrition from time to time over the last 5 years or so.

I have not heard of those to be honest. They just must not be very common?
