Hey does anyone have any recomendations for a fish oil product?
I would prefer it to be in gelcaps but oil is OK too.

i’m a big fan of Biotest’s flameout. it’s a bit pricey compared to other fish oils you can find but it’s some of the best quality and most well formulated fish oils on the market. it has a bunch of CLA in it too which can help boost fat loss in high enough amounts, which is hard to find.

I’m with Nuwanee. Now I just wish we had a Trader Joe’s out here in Colorado. I go to a Natural Foods market here for mine, but it’s a local mom ‘n’ pop outfit. Check out TJs. If I recall correctly, they have liquid capsules as well as the liquid.

i haven’t ever tried taking fish liver oils in straight liquid form but i can imagine that it’s kinda nasty. i’m assuming that you just take it straight by the spoonful as i can’t imagine many things that you can add fish oil to with that fishy flavor. i think 99% of people do better with the capsules.

if you are looking for a liquid oil supplement to get your omega-3’s i would recommend Udo’s blend oil. it’s a mix of a bunch of different nut, seed and plant oils that will get you your essential fats without making you gag. Dr. Udo Erasmus is essentially the guy who discovered the benefits of flax oil and essential fatty acids and his oil is phenomenal.

yeah i’ve taken Udo’s Blend Oil on and off for years, i love that stuff. it’s really expensive though. Barlene’s is pretty much the gold standard for expeller cold pressed flax oil, but that stuff is expensive too. i use Trader Joe’s flax oil pretty regularly, which is way cheaper. you can get a big ass bottle for like $7. I haven’t tried their fish oil but they do have it. the idea of taking straight fish oil makes me want to ralph though.

When taking undo’s oil or flax seed oil, do you have to account for them in your daily macros???  I would assume so., when I take fish oil I do not account for them in my Marcos…

Do you take them plain by the spoon or do you add them in food/cooking???

What do you guys think about milled flax seed and wheat bran????
