Well ive taken protein without it, and i dont seem to recover as well, so i read up on it and found that it speeds up recovery as a sort of catlyst it sounded like, but idk all that much about how it works but i know that it does make me fell less sore and ready to go the next day

Aminogen®

Aminogen, a vital ingredient in high-quality protein supplements, is clinically proven to increase amino acid levels and boost nitrogen retention. Developed by Triarco Industries, Aminogen is a patented, designer enzyme which breaks down protein and improves amino acid absorption. A natural, plant-derived enzyme, Aminogen is ideal for increasing lean body mass and strength and promoting deep muscle recovery. And Aminogen does all this while supporting protein digestion and reducing or eliminating the gas, bloating and constipation protein can sometimes cause. Get more out of your protein and get bigger, stronger…faster™with Aminogen.
Aminogen Clinical Study!
Adding Aminogen significantly increases amino acid absorption and nitrogen retention from whey protein. Read more about the Aminogen Clinical Study in the Journal of The International Society of Sports Nutrition.

No explode is the single best pre work out supplement you can get your hands on in my opinion.  I wrote a blog on this site a while back called “addicted to no explode”  you should check it out.  the article is about me actually getting addicted to this stuff becuase it was so good, I started takeing it all throughout the day even when I didn’t train.  I am not saying it will do that to you but  thats how much I liked it, if you do take it be carefull becuase it can be addicting.  2012

I’ll admit that I’m not a huge workout buff, so I gotta say my top 3 supplements are:
1. Multivitamin
2. Fish Oil
3. Vitamin D3

Not as fun as some of the others but what can I say? ^_^

I’ve heard that same thing, you can never know whose supplements are good and which ones you can quite trust. I use Trader Joe’s brand, deodorized. It’s affordable but I figure it’s better than the Costco tub of 600 pills for like $5. ^_^

Blake, do you take the gel capsules or the actual oil? you can find flavored oils and deodorized fish oil capsules that won’t stink if you burp them up, and keeping them in the fridge or the freezer also helps to prevent “repeating” (the term they use for fish oil burps).
BCAAs are a particular set of amino acids (L-leucine, L-valine, etc) that form the building blocks for your muscle tissues. they promote:
- muscle synthesis and mass
- growth hormone and insulin secretion
- testosterone levels
- decrease recovery time and soreness
- exercise energy and endurance
- switch your body from a catabolic (muscle breakdown) state to an anabolic (muscle creating) state
if you havent ever tried them i would highly recommend it.

Betancourt Nutrition makes the most amazing glutamine chewies. I love the grape flavor but the mixed berry is great. You can see my review on them at www.bodybybb2k.com and you can also order there as well. I could eat a whole tub full in one sitting!

The blend of Whey:Casein is great. I really like that, plus, the Chocolate Peanut Butter is AWESOME. I absolutely love the flavor. It is also very very lean, which ya gotta keep the bf% down!

I might have to add ZMA to this list (if I had a 4th pick).
