How do I insert an image into a personal message, forum, blog, or journal post?
Before inserting an image, keep in mind that only Internet images can be inserted into messages, forums, blogs or journals. This function is not set up for photo files to be uploaded from your personal computer into messages or posts.
From the Description / Post box of your entry, place the cursor where you would like to insert your Internet image.
Next, click on the “Insert/edit image” button on the bottom of the Description / Post box (which looks like a tree).
A small pop-up box will appear. Copy and paste your Image’s URL (web address) into the “Image URL” field within this pop-up box.
Then, select the alignment of your image from the “Alignment” dropdown menu (top, baseline, middle, bottom, etc).
Click the Insert button.
This pop-up box will disappear and you will see your image inside the “Description” box.
Click Submit. Your photo will now appear within your message or post.
*Note: You can always go back and Edit your forum, blog, or journal post. Be sure to troubleshoot the placement of the image if it is not in the desired place within your message or post.
